I am an artist and designer and I have been practicing my craft for a couple of decades now. My love of wildlife, the great outdoors and technology is what compels me to create my whimscial animal art. (An interesting mix to say the least.) My dry sense of humor and a child's heart helps bring my visions to life.

Much like a serigraph artist creates their original art and then makes reproductions with a squeegee and silkscreen. I create my original art, then make archival giclée prints on my professional grade 8-color printer with acid-free fine art paper. This way, I can ensure my prints meet my high expectations for quality and color accuracy. What makes my work unique is that I hand-paint my original art digitally. I use a Professional Pen and Tablet, that captures every nuance of my strokes. There are no filters or photoshop trickery used to create my art, it is painted in a similar fashion to my traditional acrylic work.

Each highly detailed, painting I create takes about a month to complete. Since the original art is already in my mac computer, there is no need to scan the art for digital print making! This is a step that is completely removed from my process. My art is a complete and true original from which my prints are reproduced — making this a very unique process. From ideation and sketches to final painting and color application, this is a 100% Photoshop original. I love this process as it allows me to change colors and add or subtract details at a whim. I am never quite satisfied and always tinkering on my original art files. Virtually, no two prints, with the same title, are alike! Each print has it's own unique flourishes and details.

I enjoy painting a beautiful nature scene, but within that scene I depict humorous everyday situations and activities with the animals of the forest. I want to captivate the viewer with my paintings and simply make them smile and laugh as well as provide an attractive and unique piece of art for them to enjoy.

My style and techniques are different from most wildlife artists. However, the goals are the same regardless of the subject matter: to further develop the quality of my art with technical mastery and intuition.
